Service
Upholstery cleaning — sofas, chairs, ottomans, and dining sets.
We come to you, test the fabric, and use the right wet-clean or dry-clean method for what you own. We tell you upfront if a piece shouldn’t be wet-cleaned at all.

Our process
How the work actually happens
- 1
1. Fabric identification
Every piece of upholstery has a care-code tag, usually under a cushion. W means safe with water. S means dry-solvent only. WS means either. X means vacuum only. We find the tag and follow it. For pieces without tags (older furniture, custom pieces) we identify fibre by feel and burn-test a single hidden thread.

2. Colour-fast test
Before any cleaning solution touches a visible area, we test it on a hidden spot — under a cushion, behind a leg, on the back of an arm — to check for colour transfer. A few seconds of dwell, then a white cloth blot. If we see colour transfer, we move to a gentler method.

3. Pre-vacuum
Thorough vacuum with crevice tools to remove loose debris before water or solvent. This is the step most home cleanings skip, and it’s why their results don’t hold — cleaning over loose dirt grinds it into the fabric.

4. The clean itself
For W-code fabrics: hot-water extraction with low-moisture upholstery tool, using a fabric-appropriate pre-spray. For S-code: dry-solvent application with a careful absorption method. For WS or mixed pieces: hybrid approach where we wet-clean the safe areas and dry-clean the rest.

5. Drying and finish
Wet-cleaned upholstery dries in 2–6 hours depending on humidity. We can leave a small fan if you need it dry faster. Once dry, we groom the pile (for velvet/textured fabrics) and re-fluff cushions.
How we price this
We don’t publish per-square-foot rates because they oversimplify. Price depends on fibre, size, condition, and whether any repair is involved. After we hear from you, you get a written estimate within one business day. The estimate stands unless we find something at pickup that changes the scope — and if we do, we tell you before doing any extra work.
