What this service includes
In-home mattress cleaning using low-moisture extraction. Addresses dust mites, body oils, sweat staining, and odour. Fast drying so the mattress is sleep-ready the same day.
- Both-side inspection (we flip rotation-rated mattresses if needed)
- High-suction vacuum with HEPA filter to extract dust mites and dander
- Spot pre-treatment for visible stains
- Low-moisture extraction (much less water than upholstery — mattresses must dry fast)
- Enzyme treatment for organic stains or odour
- UV-light treatment option for allergen reduction (add-on)
- Final inspection with the customer
- Same-day sleep-ready after 2–4 hour dry time
Our process
How the work actually happens

1. Inspection and history
We look at both sides of the mattress, note any stains, and ask about history (any recent illness, allergies, infants in the room, pet sleeping on the bed). This guides whether to add enzyme treatment, allergen-reduction passes, or stay with the standard process.

2. HEPA vacuum
High-suction vacuum with a HEPA filter pulls out fine dust, skin cells, and dust mites. This step alone makes a meaningful difference for allergy sufferers. We pay extra attention to seams and edge piping where dust accumulates.

3. Spot pre-treat
Visible stains — coffee, sweat-marks, food, the occasional accident — get an appropriate spot pre-treatment. We don’t over-saturate; the goal is to break down the stain so the extraction lifts it without soaking the mattress.

4. Low-moisture extraction
A specialized upholstery extraction tool with low water output and high vacuum recovery. Much less water than upholstery cleaning — mattresses can’t tolerate getting wet through. The mattress feels barely damp after this step.

5. Enzyme or UV (if requested)
For odour issues we add an enzyme treatment that breaks down protein-based stains and smells (urine, sweat, blood). For high-allergen sensitivity we offer a UV pass that further reduces dust-mite-allergen load.

6. Drying
Mattresses dry in 2–4 hours with a small fan. Sleep-ready the same evening. We strip and remake the bed for you if you’d like.
How we price this
We don’t publish per-square-foot rates because they oversimplify. Price depends on fibre, size, condition, and whether any repair is involved. After we hear from you, you get a written estimate within one business day. The estimate stands unless we find something at pickup that changes the scope — and if we do, we tell you before doing any extra work.
